Akron Art Museum

The Akron Art Museum is located in the heart of Akron, Ohio.  The unique design of the building and alluring displays of art inside draw people to the museum.  The museum is open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday and 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Thursday.  It is closed on Monday and Tuesday.  It is also closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The current exhibit is  William Wegman:  Fay and will be there until August 16th.  Also at the museum is Lee Friedlander's Factory Valleys (through May 31st), and The Global Artistry of Leo and Diane Dillon (through June 21st).  There are several exhibits and events coming in over the summer, so please check their website for further details.
