Cascade Valley Metro Park

This 526-acre park, made up of several large areas, includes more than 7 miles of hiking trails in central Summit County. The Chuckery Area contains several unique features, including a prairie and a meadow, each with unusual or rare plants. Schumacher Valley remains one of the most rugges areas within the City of Akron, and the Overlook Trail offers spectacular views of the Cuyahoga River Valley. The Oxbow Area offers a variety of play fields. When not reserved for league use, these fields are available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
