The Ohio & Erie Canalway Byway brings visitors through the heart of our heritage area and presents them with fantastic opportunities for recreation and exploration.

The Ohio & Erie Canalway Byway is one of America’s Byways ®. This national driving route showcases the breadth of our heritage–from industrial areas in Cleveland and Dover to rural landscapes in Stark and Tuscarawas counties, as well as Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Byway leads travelers along 110 miles of scenic roads and winds along the historic route of the Ohio & Erie Canal.
