Parks

Parks are major partners in the Ohio & Erie Canalway. Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the third most visited national park in the United States, is a keystone of our heritage area. Our metropolitan parks are vibrant, engaging community participants. These include, from north to south, Cleveland Metroparks; Metro Parks, Serving Summit County; and the Stark County Park District. Each of the parks manages stretches of the Towpath Trail; offers open space and provides a wealth of visitor activities focusing on cultural, natural resources, history and recreation.
