The Western Reserve Historical Society (WRHS) is located in University Circle, Cleveland's renowned arts and cultural district. The Society's headquarters houses an extraordinary group of distinguished collections including The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, nearly 200 vintage and antique automobiles and airplanes; The Halle Costume Wing, which houses more than 30,000 garments from the late 1700s to the present; The Hay-McKinney Mansion, a 1911 masterpiece where visitors can tour luxurious turn-of-the-century parlors and living areas; and the Library, where more than 20 million archives and manuscripts are available for all interested in genealogical research or any aspect of Northeast Ohio history. $5ΓÇô8.50.
In November 2014, the fully restored Euclid Beach Carousel began operating in a new WRHS space built specifically to house the treasure. Continuing a journey begun in 1910, the full restoration of the hand-carved wooden carousel horses was underway for more than a year.
In addition to their University Circle location, WRHS also brings a Living Village to life at Hale Farm & Village in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
