Cuyahoga & Tuscarawas Rivers
On the northern end of the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area, the Cuyahoga River feeds south before connecting with the Ohio & Erie Canal. Further south, the Ohio & Erie Canal merges into the Tuscarawas River. Both rivers (and the Ohio & Erie Canal) offer a variety of options for those wishing to traverse the National Heritage Area by water.
