New Musical CD and DVD Release by Cleveland Metroparks
Cleveland Metroparks Historical Interpreter Foster Brown has just released a new musical CD and DVD that unlocks the forgotten history of towns, industries and individuals that flourished during the Canal Era. This eclectic collection of original songs includes features towns including Akron, Barberton, Canal Fulton, Cleveland, Independence, Massillon, Peninsula, Zoar and many more. This 14-song project was supported by a matching grant through the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area Grants program.
However, this is not just a musical project with great songs. It’s a two-disc product including a DVD. The DVD presents a musical slide show--the songs matched to historic photos which vividly capture the essence of the past.
