Don’t let Northeast Ohio winter keep you indoors — experience our land of natural resources! Spend an afternoon enjoying the snow and then grab a bite to eat with a glass of wine at a local staple.

Step by Step

A Snowy Trek

Begin at the Winter Sports Center at Kendall Lake. This complex is open weekends when there’s at least four inches of snow, and can provide you with rented cross-country skis and poles or a pair of snowshoes. The winter scenery is beautiful and there’s cross country trails for all abilities.

Warm Your Hands and Feed Your Appetite

When you’re ready for some rest and refreshment, head over to Sarah’s Vineyard a few miles away in Cuyahoga Falls. Warm up with a glass of locally produced wine. The menu features fresh sandwiches, salads and cheese platters in a casual atmosphere.
