Built in 1874 by Pearson Rhoads to house his harness shop and carriage trimmer business, this building is now a museum dedicated to the industries that were found along the Ohio & Erie Canal.
Here you will find artifacts and photos of the shipping, mining, railroad and glass industries. Imagine the cry of "Low Bridge," the ring of the coal miner's pick and the whistles of 120 steam powered engines. Enjoy the "end of the day" pieces from Warwick Glass and the wonderfully colorful biographies of Pearson's neighbors and customers.
