Merriman Valley

The area of North Akron in the Cuyahoga River Valley, the Merriman Valley or as an Akronite would say "the Valley", is Akron's Gateway to the National Park. The valley includes destination tourism, entertainment, service and recreational opportunities, including arts organizations, restaurants, a variety of specialty foods stores, personal service businesses, professional offices, and sporting goods stores, physical fitness facilities, golf, and more outdoor recreation. Valley Assets and Landmarks include public transportation via METRO Bus Route #28, Weathervane Theater, Liberty Commons, Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath, and the Cuyahoga River.
